Here are a few updates:
The grade 6’s have been really busy with their entrepreneurial adventure therefore the date for the francophone country project has been postponed. I do not have a set date yet but I will let them know Friday.
Also, the newspaper rough copy is due next Friday, May 17th.
Students need to bring back their permission forms for the science fair ASAP.

Updates April 25th-
Ottawa Fury Game Day:
Students must all be in the library at 9:10 am as bus will be here at 9:15.
We will be back at the school around 1 PM
Weather update: it will be about 24 degrees and sunny on Wednesday therefore students should bring a hat and sunscreen.
A bagged lunch or lunch box is required since school bags will remain at school.
Students that have pizza will receive their pizza upon return to school.

Here is a breakdown of what's to come in the following weeks:

-Students are currently working on their `Teacher for a day` project. Presentations will begin next week.
-Étude de roman: students will be doing short novel study in French.
Science: Next week we will begin our Electricity unit.
Social Studies: We will begin our next social studies( Canadian identity) unit in late April.
Dance Showcase: 16 students in the class have signed up to be part of the school dance group. We will be performing on May 8th at St. Paul High School. A permission form will be sent home soon.

Sorry I have not updated the website lately. We've been quite busy with all the projects going on. I post daily on Twitter therefore, if you are not following me yet please do so. It's a great way to see what is going on in the classroom.
